Should I flat out tell my boyfriend I want to get married? ?

We are in our mid twenties, been together for four years, we have talked about marriage and he is always keen but he just isn't proposing! (money the not an issue, nor is his career the issue as he is successful regarding that) I'm sick of waiting and I'm not the kind of women to let four years turn into 6...7 and so on, I don't want to propose to him as such but should I just flat out tell him I want to start thinking about getting married or is this coming on too strong? Should I really just wait? Urgh, we live together and I move around everywhere for him because of his job, I sacrifice a LOT for this relationship and feel I deserve a bit of commitment in return. Am I wrong? What would you do?
