Urgh help? i restart my laptop but my sims wont load? why!?!?

everytime i click on the sims3 to load it, it just wont?!!? like it wont come up for me to star playing it and i dont know why. i have restarted my computer several times but it just wont work please help1!?!?!?!?!?!?!!??!
