Can my Betta fish live in this community?

I just added a male betta to an already existing 10 gallon tank with 2 cories, 1 dalmatian molly, 1 platy, and 3 black tetras. They're all very friendly toward each other, no fin nipping. Then I introduced the Betta who only seems to flare up with the platy (he's super orange). And it's not every time he sees him, it's just randomly he'll go try to be tough while the platy runs off. There's no nipping. He'll occasionally do the chase thing with the black tetras too, but they're all too fast. Are they just establishing a new pecking order? will the betta eventually cut this behavior out? Because the majority of the time he's been hanging out by the filter or the heater and the other fish are incredibly friendly. They don't chase him at all. Thanks a bunch in advance!
