What can you do after pregnancy to feel good about yourself naked?
Bio-oil will do nothing for you. You won't even start to feeling back to normal until you are done with breastfeeding. Really, I hope your husband or partner enjoys you just as much now as he did then. I just turn off the lights and enjoy time with hubby. The other thing is that you need to wait until about month 4 and then go back to the maternity store and find 2 or 3 outfits that you feel comfortable in until you're done breastfeeding and can get your body shape more back to normal. This is really normal and no oil is going to fix it. Getting back into an exercise routine that includes 3x per week aerobic activity and 2x per week of weights will help you in the process though. Also, lots and lots of clean H2O of course! Make sure you're taking a good pre-natal vitamin, eat cabbage and superfoods like blueberries and oatmeal. Make sure to get your omega 3,6 and 9s and extra calcium. Personally, I'm four months post-partum and I would feel sick slapping bio oil all over my big fat self. It's good to wear maternity pants along with pretty tops that cover your butt. That always makes me feel better - feeling a bit covered up and not like I'm letting the fat and skin flap around at everyone. I feel like a beached whale. I am happy and blessed, but yeah - this body condition will have to go in time. Everyone says that breastfeeding itself is supposed to take the weight off faster but I find I need to do alot more than that with the exercise and careful diet. It's not that it's a bad condition - I'm just not used to it. You know - I was so thin before for all my life that this condition does not feel comfortable. It would be one thing if I was comfortable with it but I'm so not!
